PRESIDENT/CEO

Master Kim began studying Taekwondo in 1974 in Seoul, Korea and is a 6th Dan Black Belt (WTF). He majored in Taekwondo and graduated from Kyung Hee University in Korea. He has 38 years of instructional experience and was the International Instructor for the WTF as well as the head coach of the Korean American Taekwondo Team for the 80th Korea National Sports Festival. He was the former President of the San Diego Taekwondo Association and is now teaching in San Diego.

  • 2007 – Be awarded the Presidential Active Lifestyle.

  • Obtained the level of the seventh degree black belt instructor in Tae Kwon Do
  • Certified master of The World Tae Kwon Do Federation
  • Coach of the American Tae Kwon Do team for the Eightieth Korean National sport Festival
  • Involved in Tae Kwon Do for thirty-eight years

Master Hyon Lee has been practicing The Art of Tae Kwon Do for 35 years. Because of his training and dedication to the sport of Tae Kwon Do he was given many opportunities to represent the United States of America in multiple international competitions including 1992 Barcelona Spain (alternate), World Championships and Pan-American Games.

ATHLETES TRAINER/COACH

Master Ko is a decorated Taekwodo Master and athlete with nearly 30 years of expperience and is a 6th dan black belt. He currently competes in World Championship competitions and is ranked in the top 1% amoung Taekwondo masters in the world, according to current ranking systems. Master Ko brings to the NRGMatrix team his international competition experience and his innovative cutting-edge training and sparring techniques that have been widely adopted by Taekwondo athletes around the world.

Master Ko was born in Korea and has been professionally teaching marital arts since 1994, after earning his bachelor degree from Korea’s famous Cheongju University. He has over 23 years of extenssive coaching experience along with 12 years of competition experience of his own. Master Ko brings to the NRGMatrix team the latest training and sparring techniques from Korea.
